Greetings from Brunei Darussalam!

Brunei will play host to the 17th IFNGO ASEAN NGO's Workshop on Prevention of Drug and Substance Abuse this coming 3 to 5 December 2007.

It is indeed a pleasure on the part of BASMIDA (Persatuan Membasmi Dadah), The National Anti-Drug Association of Brunei Darussalam to organise this prestigious event.

IFNGO is an international organisation which is accredited with Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC as Observer (B) as well as with ASEAN and other official bodies.

Brunei Darussalam is known for its Kingdom of Unexpected Treasures. Located at the northern tip of Borneo Island, it is a small yet peaceful and prosperous nation. We do hope that you will come and see the wonders of Brunei yet to be explored.

The workshop will deal much on the challenges of recidivism and identify the way forward to ensure the reduction of relapse cases. We have invited experts who will share their knowledge and experiences on the many approaches and methods in overcoming recidivism. We would like to ensure that this workshop will be a good platform to benchmark with best practices in reducing, if not, overcoming recidivism.
